We recommend all teachers read the ASA Learn to Swim Programme Aquatic Teacher’s Guide carefully before they start to implement the plan and that all teachers attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars to fully understand the ethos behind the plan.

However, the ASA has also provided a number of case studies that may give teachers an insight into how the framweork can be implemented, and offered our top ten ways to improve implementation.
