Organising a CPD Seminar at your facility
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars are an essential requirement for ensuring your teachers and coaches are kept up to date with the latest developments in aquatics.
As a National Governing Body, the ASA have a licensed structure in place, supported by a wide range of quality assured continuing professional development seminars.
What CPD seminars are available?
Click here to browse through our CPD Training Directory to see what accredited seminars are available to run currently at your facility. Links are provided to give full, printable information on each seminar that you may be interested in. All seminars in the Training Directory have been through a stringent quality assurance process to determine their accuracy and suitability as evidence towards the ASA Teacher/Coach licensing scheme. Seminars that have been through this process will be identified as a Category 1 seminar.

CPD seminars explained
Independent Category 1 - approved and quality assured by the ASA Awarding Body, owned and delivered independently. CPD points will be accrued.
Category 1 - approved and quality assured by the ASA Awarding Body, owned by the Institute of Swimming. CPD points will be accrued.
Category 2 - Not ASA Awarding Body accredited and hence do not carry CPD points. A certificate will be issued for personal development only.
Submit a seminar for approval by the ASA
If you can't find the specific CPD seminar you are looking for, you may wish to create your own and submit it to the ASA Awarding Body to have it approved and accredited. Click here to find out more on submitting a seminar
