Details of funding opportunities available nationally for aquatics teachers and coaches.

The Swimming Trust Teacher Coach Education Grant Fund

  • Who can access it? Clubs with swim21 accreditation or actively working towards accreditation and affiliated to the ASA
  • What qualifications does it cover? Level 2: Coaching Swimming, Teaching Aquatics, Coaching Diving, Coaching Water Polo, Coaching Synchronised Swimming
  • How much is it for? A grant of £250 towards an ASA Level 2 course per applicant
  • How do I apply for it? Fill in the application form available here
  • What is the application process? If you are successful you will be given a reference code, candidates then enrol and pay the remainder of the cost minus the £250 grant. Please note that funding cannot be awarded retrospectively. Guidance notes are available for download here.

Cash 4 Clubs

  • Who can access it? Sports clubs 
  • What qualifications does it cover? All
  • How much is it for? £250, £500 or £1000
  • How do I apply for it?  Complete the online application form by clicking here
  • What is the application process? Clubs complete the online application form.  The application is then judged by a panel to determine how much is awarded.

Awards for All

  • Who can access it? Voluntary and community organisations, school, parish or town councils, health bodies
  • What qualifications does it cover? All
  • How much is it for? £300-£10,000
  • How do I apply for it? Complete the application form by clicking here
  • What is the application process? Application form is completed, then is assessed by the panel and funding is awarded accordingly.
