Youth Forum meeting - 9th January
Hi All and welcome to the first blog from the ASA Youth Forum. The idea of this blog is to give you a brief insight to what we get up to at our meetings.
Our last meeting took place at the start of January where we discussed aspects of this website and ways of getting more of you involved through apprenticeships and qualifications available from the ASA for young people. We also looked at how the ASA can get more young people involved “behind the scenes” of running aquatic sports, such as getting you involved with your club committees and regional committees. Don’t just think that we are having boring meetings; we also have a good laugh at these meetings, like building human pyramids! - This was good but we did collapse!
The ASA Youth Forum is here to represent YOU as young volunteers and give your feedback to the ASA, so please get in touch and let us know your ideas, the issues you face and also any news you have about your volunteering experiences.
