British Records demolished at 2015 Winter Meet

Last year’s event saw British short course records set in eight senior individual events and nine junior records. Plymouth Leander’s Ben Proud posted four British records while Molly Renshaw lowered both the 100m and 200m Breaststroke records.

London Aquatics Centre Performance Programme’s Aimee Willmott took home the most silverware, winning five medals at the four-day meet.

In the team relay battle, Loughborough University came out on top winning four of the six events. But they were hotly contested by City of Sheffield, Stockport Metro and Millfield among others.

Around 1,000 athletes took part in last year’s event, providing an excellent show case of British short course talent.

After an incredible year of European, Olympic and Paralympic competition we are looking forward to another great swimming showcase.
