Olympic, World and European medallists will line up alongside around 1,000 swimmers at the ASA National Winter Meet (25m) in Sheffield from 17-20 December 2015.
Adam Peaty, who won double breaststroke silver at the LEN European Short Course Championships earlier this month, will lead the charge at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, bringing his impressive year to an end at the highlight of the English short course calendar.
World record holder, Peaty, who has been named as a contender for this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year, will line up in the 100m Breaststroke alongside Olympic silver medallist Michael Jamieson.
City of Leeds’ World Junior medallist Georgia Coates and Loughborough University’s two-time world champion Liam Tancock will also head to the National Winter Meet 2015 in Sheffield following performances at the Short Course Championships in Israel.
Other swimmers confirmed to race include world champions Fran Halsall and Calum Jarvis as well as Georgia Davies, Lizzie Simmonds, Aimee Willmott and 10km marathon swimming champion Jack Burnell, who was the first British swimmer to meet the qualification standard for Rio 2016 after his performance at this year’s World Championships in Kazan.
With such a great line-up the ASA will be providing a live stream from the National Winter Meet 2015 which will be available on our Live Stream page.
