After storming to victory in a new British 200m Breaststroke record last night, Loughborough University’s Molly Renshaw secured the centre lane for tonight’s 100m Breaststroke final, touching in 1:06.88, just half a second outside her lifetime best.

Hong Kong’s Yvette Man-Yi Kong is second fastest qualifier after posting a time of 1:07.31 in this morning’s heats, while 16-year-old swimmer Imogen Clark (Derventio), who set a British 50m Breaststroke record on day one, posted a new personal best time of 1:07.35 to qualify third.

In the heats of the Men’s 50m Breaststroke, Lewis Clifford-Stephenson (Killerwhales) posted a new lifetime best of 26.70 to head into tonight’s final as fastest qualifier.

Clifford-Stephenson will line up alongside 100m Breaststroke bronze medallist, Lawerence Palmer (Putteridge) as well as ASA Winter Meet 100m Breast gold medallist Richard Spoor (Loughborough University) who touched the wall in 26.92 and 27.10 respectively.

Winter meet three heats: Women’s 100m Butterfly

Bath University’s Jemma Lowe, Welsh record holder and silver medallist at this year’s British Championships in London, looked comfortable as she cruised through the last 100m Butterfly heat in 57.94, securing the centre lane for the final tonight.

Loughborough University teammates Rachael Kelly (58.13) and Sophie Smith (58.35), who took gold and bronze respectively in last night’s 50m Butterfly, round out the top three qualifiers.

Kevin Wallbank (Loughborough University) will line up in lane four tonight after posting the fastest time of this morning’s heats (1:58.03).

Bath University’s Matthew Johnson sits second heading into the final after a heat swim of 1:58.70, while Derventio’s Jamie Ingram posted a four second personal best of 1:58.82 to join Wallbank and Johnson in the final.

Winter Meet day three heats: Women’s 50m Backstroke

Commonwealth 50m Backstroke champion, Georgia Davies (Loughborough University) leads the way heading into tonight’s final after posting a season’s best time of 26.66 this morning.

Davies will be joined in the final by Ealing’s Ekaterina Avramova, who touched in a lifetime best of 27.66, while Woking’s Anna Maine matched her British record of 27.67 set at the Ontario Junior International in Canada earlier this month to qualify third fastest.

Winter Meet day three heats: Men’s 100m Backstroke

It was a Loughborough University affair in the Men’s 100m Backstroke heats with the top three qualifying spots for tonight’s final going to members of the club.

After taking gold in the 50m Backstroke last night, Joe Elwood will line up in lane four after setting the quickest time of the morning of 53.24. He will be joined on either side by teammates Brian O’Sullivan and Daniel Cross who finished in 53.67 and 54.05 respectively.

Elliot Clogg (City of Sheffield) set his third British Backstroke junior record of the meet, touching the wall in 54.50 to book an outside lane in tonight’s final.

Winter Meet day three heats: Women’s 400m Freestyle

Camilla Hattersley will be looking to top her silver medal from last night’s 800m Freestyle as she heads into tonight’s 400m final as fastest qualifier after a 4:08.32 heats swim.

With only 0.01 seconds separating the City of Glasgow swimmer and Bath University’s Anne Bochmann (4:08.30) this looks set to be a final not too miss.

Georgina Boyle (Chelsea and Westminster) set a time of 4:09.32, lowering her personal best set earlier this month at the Ontario Junior International in Canada and qualifying third fastest for the final.

Winter Meet day three heats: Men’s 100m IM

Brian O’Sullivan dropped almost two seconds of his previous lifetime best to qualify for fastest for tonight’s final.

The Loughborough University swimmer posted a time of 54.93 to finish ahead of City of Manchester’s Sam Horrocks and 200m IM gold medallist, Tristan Slater (Millfied), who finished in 55.18 and 55.49 respectively.

Winter Meet day three heats: Women’s 4x100m Medley

The Stockport Metro A quartet of Lauren Quigley, Katie Matts, Brearnna Close and Emma Gage will head into tonight’s final as fastest qualifiers after finishing four seconds faster than the rest of the field this morning in 4:02.22.

Loughborough University (Charlotte Evans, Jocelyn Ulyett, Sophie Simpson and Stephanie Bremnar) sit second in 4:06.03, while City of Derby (Eleanor Baldwin, Sarah Vasey, Amy Grant and Harriet Cooper) are third fastest qualifiers in 4:08.55.
