The ASA National Winter Meet 2016 takes place from 15 – 18 December.

Head to our Schedule page for both a detailed PDF version and a simplified version of the daily schedule.

When will doors open?

Doors will open for spectators 90 minutes before each session starts, coinciding with the pre-session warm-up times.

Where can I follow results?

You will be able to track results and follow a live stream of the action for days you cannot attend. The live stream will start ten minutes before the schedule start time of each session.

Can I order a digital copy of a day to playback?

Yes you can! You can relive any or all days of the ASA National Winter Meet 2016 by purchasing full race replays on a memory stick.

The order form for memory sticks will be available later in November.

Can I park at the venue?

We recommend that spectators park just across the road at Castle Gate Q-Park, Broad Street where discounted prices will be honoured for Ponds Forge customers.

Please collect a discounted car parking ticket from Main Reception at Ponds Forge. Monday – Sunday: £1 per hour up to a maximum of £6 (terms and conditions apply).

Alternatively, you may wish to use Nunnery Square Park and Ride, just off the Sheffield Parkway A57.

Dedicated disabled parking spaces are available on the top level of the Ponds Forge car park.

What can I purchase at the venue?

There will be programmes, start lists and event footage will be available to purchase on ASA memory sticks.

There is also a café at Ponds Forge where food and refreshments are available to purchase.

Swimming-themed phone cases will also be available from the front desk.

Can I take pictures?

The responsible use of photos and moving images is fine. There will be official event photographers from whom you will be able to purchase professional images at www.dephoto.biz.

DE Photo will also be printing photos on site for sale from their stand in the foyer.

The ASA’s photography policy is outlined in the Event Programme and there is useful information about child welfare in the ASA’s Wavepower document.

Can I leave a public message of support or congratulations for my favourite swimmer or team?

It has never been easier to leave messages of support for competitors or teams.

Head to our Messages Of Support page to leave a shout out on the Hub.

Alternatively, head over to Twitter and use the hashtag #ASAWinterMeet – your message might even be read out in-venue by the commentators!
