Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Very close to the top of most people’s New Year resolution list is to be more active and make a real effort to get fit. Make it happen this year with our help!

Impress everyone with your commitment this New Year by signing up for a personal challenge such as the Big Splash Mile for Sport Relief with Swimathon. Tick off two resolutions in one go – not only will your health and fitness benefit but you will be raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief.

Everyone who signs up will receive their own British Gas Swimfit training plan to make sure you are ready for the event in April and really make in-roads into achieving a ‘New You’ for the New Year.

With programmes for health, fitness, shape up & tone and those who want to become competitive, the site has everything you need to become the New You!

Over-indulged on party food and mince pies? Resolve to take part in at least 30 minutes of swimming, once a week to start to reduce that body fat.
