Aquasplash for the Big Splash

Swimming is fun! And we want your pupils to think so too.

That’s why we’d love all primary schools in the country to hold their very own Aquasplash festival as part of the Big Splash. And the focus is on fun.

Tell me more

For the Big Splash we’ve chosen 8 of the best Aquasplash activities and given them a points scoring system.

It may be blowing flying saucers across the pool or a footy relay so kids can get really Messi in the pool.

After the festival you can upload your school's scores to our fun league table so you can view your progress against other schools nearby or England wide.

Sounds great, but I don't know anything about running festivals

Click here to go to the Aquasplash website

Don't worry, you don’t have to be a swimmer or know anything about aquatics to organise or run an Aquasplash festival.

We have done all the hard work for you, so you just need to read the resources provided on our dedicated website and get young people in the pool having fun!

Also, the festival is designed to be fully inclusive and there are options to increase or decrease the difficulty of events. We want all children to be able to make an Aquasplash.

OK, what's next?

Go and register on the website so that we can check you are a school - you will need your school's Unique Reference Number (URN). To go to the site click here or on the button right. You can then download the resources and get started. Have fun!
