Fran Halsall picks her favourite Olympian of all time

To celebrate the Year to Go celebration for London 2012 on 27th July 2011, we caught up with Fran Halsall and asked her who her favourite Olympian of all time was.

About Fran

Fran Halsall has rapidly built a reputation as one of the quickest female swimmers in the world.

The 21-year old, who trains at the British Gas ITC Loughborough, made her Olympic debut at Beijing 2008, reaching the final of the 100m Freestyle as well as competing in all three relay quartets.

A year later, she scored her first individual long course international medal with 100m Freestyle silver at the 2009 World Championships in Rome.

2010 saw Halsall underline her status as one of the top sprinters in the world as she stormed to five medals at both the European Championships in Budapest and the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
