Jo Jackson picks her favourite Olympian of all time
To celebrate the Year to Go celebration for London 2012 on 27th July 2011, we caught up with Jo Jackson and asked her who her favourite Olympian of all time was.
Jo Jackson is one of the most experienced members of the British Gas GBR Swimming team and one of only four active members to have won an Olympic medal.
Having gained valuable experience as a 17-year old at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Jackson won 400m Freestyle bronze, sharing the podium with teammate and champion Rebecca Adlington at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
The 24-year old took her Olympic form into the next season and the 2009 World Championships in Rome where she bagged a pair of silver medals in the 400m and 800m Freestyle respectively.
