To celebrate the Year to Go celebration for London 2012 on 27th July 2011, we caught up with Monique Gladding and asked her who her favourite Olympian of all time was.
About Monique
After injury put paid to her gymnastics ambitions in 1998, Monique Gladding turned her attention to diving and made quick progress to become British champion for the first time in 2000.
The City of Sheffield diver has gradually developed into an international competitor and has won medals at Grand Prix and World Series level.
Her most recent success came at the 2010 European Championships in Budapest where Gladding won 10m Synchro bronze with Megan Sylvester.
