British Swimming Judicial Decisions

Attention is drawn to section 24.1 of the British Swimming Disciplinary Code (June 2007) whereby the decisions published here may be the subject of an appeal if filed within 28 days of the decision being notified to the parties.

British Swimming v Mr C Figes

1. Figes is to be suspended from playing water polo at all levels for the period of six months;
2. This period of suspension is to be suspended for a period of eighteen months from 1 July 2008;
3. In the event that a Complaint is received within that period of eighteen months, and established, the suspension mentioned in 1 above shall come in to effect together with any additional sanction that might be imposed;
4. If the sanction in 1 above does become effective Mr Figes is to be allowed to train;
