The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Jake's Career

Jake is another of the British squad to have progressed from the 2008 European Junior team who qualified for the finals then finished 13th in Istanbul. He made his senior debut later in 2008 before finishing fourth with the Brits in the 2009 European B Championships. He has become a regular first team player for the Brits over the past two seasons, playing in Euro 2012 qualifiers and FINA World League qualifiers over the past two seasons. Domestically, he has played professionally for Brisbane Barracudas in Australi, Rapid Bucharest in Romania and most recently last season for Bayer Uerdingen in Germany.
