In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Did you know?

  • When Jennifer was seven years old she watched synchronised swimming on TV and fell in love with it. She enjoyed sports and was training in swimming, dancing, gymnastics and diving at the time. After seeing synchro performed she realised this combined all her favourite sports in one.
  • Her father was involved in ballet. He managed to dance for and meet the Queen.
  • Having grown up in Canada, Jennifer is a big fan of ice hockey and supports the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Jennifer's Career

Jennifer first linked up with the British set-up in 2011 and had an immediate impact, helping the Brits to Combination gold at the European Champions Cup in Sheffield as well as finishing fifth in the Team event. She also travelled with the Brits to the World Championships in Shanghai, finishing ninth in the Team and seventh in the Combination. This season, she was part of the British Team to finish eighth at the Olympic Test Event and fifth at the European Championships in Eindhoven.
