Did you know?
- Lisa was born in Chichester but grew up and learnt to play water polo in Oregon, USA.
- Away from the pool, she is studying biomedical sciences at Manchester University and wants to become a doctor after retiring from the sport.
- She enjoys yoga, playing the piano and kick-boxing and says her favourite food is her mum's homemade pizza.
Lisa's Career
Lisa played junior level water polo for Great Britain between 2005 and 2009 but made her senior debut in 2007, helping the British women to silver at the European B Championships in Prague. She has become a regular for the senior women in the past three seasons, competing at the World League and European A Championship qualifiers in 2010 and 2011. After competing at the World Student Games in 2011, she was part of the first British team to compete at their first European Championships for 15 years in Eindhoven this season. She was selected for London 2012 after top-scoring for the Brits with six goals at the VISA International Test Event in London in May.
