Did you know?
- Robyn played hockey and badminton as well as swimming and competing in triathletes in her teenage years but she chose to focus solely on water polo after being selected for her first senior training camp with the British team in 2007.
- She was the only girl when she first started playing at Tyldesley and played with the men's team until she was 16.
- She studies Economics at Manchester Metropolitan University and has ambitions to be a quantity surveyor after finishing with water polo.
Robyn's Career
Having been part of British youth and junior teams at consecutive European Championships from 2007 to 2009, Roybn was part of the British senior team to lift gold at the European Nations Trophy in Manchester in 2009. Since then, she has been a permanent fixture in the British 13, competing in World League qualifiers from 2009 to 2012, the World Student Games in 2011 and most recently the European Championships in Eindhoven in January 2012. The Olympics will be her second experience of the Olympic Water Polo Arena, having played in the VISA International Test Event.
