Did you know?

  • At just 16-years old, Siobhan is the youngest British swimmer on TeamGB for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
  • She had to sacrifice going to her Year 11 end-of-year Prom to compete in the 100m Breaststroke final at the ASA Nationals - but her decision paid off!
  • She says her favourite way to relax is with a good book by the side of a pool on holiday while she admits she has a soft spot for strawberries.

Siobhan's Career

After reaching two finals in an encouraging European Junior debut in 2010, Siobhan burst on to the scene in 2011 winning 200m Individual Medley at the ASA National Championships to secure a place at the World Championships in Shanghai. Before the Worlds, she won three golds (including both individual medleys) and a silver at her second European Junior Championships in Belgrade. She then rose to the occasion on her senior international bow, reaching the semi-finals of the 200m Individual Medley before finishing 13th. She booked her Olympic spot at the 2012 British Gas ASA National Championships, clinching 100m Breatstroke gold having knocked more than two seconds off her 100m Breaststroke personal best throughout the course of the season.
