  • Yvette was drawn to synchronised swimming while watching it on TV as a youngster. She thought it looked a very unique sport and decided to get involved from there on. Her family were, and still are very supportive of her choice of sport. When not training she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
  • Yvette's mother was previously a masters speed swimmer. She also has a father who loves golf, a brother who enjoys DJing and an older sister.
  • Yvette hopes to be a Speech and Language therapist for children after her synchro career.

Yvette's Career

Yvette began her synchronised swimming career back in 2001 at the age of just 10. She attended the ASA National Age Group Championships in 2008 where she left with a bronze medal in the figures competition and came fourth in solo. She was then proudly selected for the GB Senior Squad in 2009 training in Aldershot. Yvette attended the World Trophy 2009 finishing eighth in the Team and ninth in the Combination. Last season was another busy one for Yvette as she went to both the World Championships and the European Champions Cup.
