24th August 2011 - The Daily Mail

Hannah Miley believes her success in winning silver at the World Championships can be the springboard to glory at the London Olympics.

I've been working on this for most of my career and must make sure I continue to work as hard as I can.

Miley won her first World Championship medal with silver at the 2011 event in Shanghai.

She said: "The World Championships are the next closest event to the Olympics, it's pretty much the same people. It's a really good stepping stone for me.

"I've been working on this for most of my career, and must make sure I continue to work as hard as I can. I can't control what anyone else does

"I think the team overall did really well, everyone felt really positive.

"What happens in this doesn't mean the the same result will happen at the Olympics, but people now have an idea what to do. They can use it as a driving force."
