Sascha Kindred won his third gold of the British Gas Swimming Championships 2012 with a dominant performance in the 100m Breaststroke.

Kindred (SB7) reclaimed his British title after touching the wall in a time of 1:23.73 which claimed him a total of 932 points and was under the Paralympic qualification time.

Three golds at this Championships - I can't ask for much more than that.

“Three golds at this Championships - I can't ask for much more than that,” Kindred said. “I think that's 17 golds I've won at British national championships now so I'm doing alright for myself and it was another solid swim as well tonight.

“It was my second qualifying time as well so it's gone well tonight.

"Last time I won three golds here was 2008 and I went and had a brilliant Paralympics so hopefully if the omens are the same, I'll have a good year this year as well and will perform well in London.”

Thomas Young (SB7) won the silver medal with 873 points after finishing in 1:25.59.

The bronze medal went to Scott Quin (SB14) in 1:11.82 after winning 791 points.

Jack Bridge finished out of the medals in seventh but lowered his own British SB9 record in the race as he touched in 1:12.25 for 761 points.

Portsmouth’s Amberley Hoar (SB14) stormed to victory in the women’s 100m Breaststroke with a time of 1:23.21. She took 940 points with her time to take the gold medal.

Nicole Lough (SB14) won the silver in 1:23.79 which gave her a total of 921.

The bronze went to world champion Harriet Lee (SB9) with 852 points after touching in a time of 1:21.15, safely under the Paralympic qualification time.
