Lee dives under Paralympic time

IPC World Champion Harriet Lee sealed her first Paralympic qualification time as she progressed to tonight’s MC 100m Breaststroke final at the British Gas Swimming Championships in London.

The 20-year old touched in 1:21.96 in her heat to progress third fastest with 827 points behind Amberley Hoar (SB14) and Nicole Lough (SB14).

World Championship silver medallist Claire Cashmore (SB8) secured her second Paralympic qualification time of the meet to progress fourth in 1:22.68.

Sascha Kindred (SB7) closed in on his third title in as many days as he led qualifying in the men's event.

The six-time Paralympic champion touched home in 1:26.37 ahead of Thomas Young (SB7) in 1:28.10 and Dan Pepper (SB14) in 1:11.75.
