Quigley and Roebuck line up for 2014 Champs

19th February 2014

Lauren Quigley and Joe Roebuck will defend their respective national titles after confirming their entry for the British Gas Swimming Championships 2014 in Glasgow.

British Swimming TicketsStockport Metro swimmer Quigley was one of the breakthrough stars of last year’s Championships, winning 100m Backstroke gold as well as silvers in the 50m and 200m Back.

And the 18-year old will return to challenge in all three backstroke events in Glasgow, as well as the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle as she looks to seal a place on the England team for her first Commonwealth Games.

While Quigley will be competing in her seventh British Champs, this year’s event will be Roebuck’s 13th, having missed just one staging since the inaugural Championships in 2001.
