Hynd wins S8 400m Freestyle

Paralympic champion and world record holder Sam Hynd wins the S8 400m Freestyle, storming away to finish in 4:29.18.

British clean sweep

Sam's young brother Oliver and world champion Tom Young (in video) complete a British clean sweep of the medals in the S8 400m Freestyle, both setting personal bests in the process.

Frederiksen seals second gold

Heather Frederiksen adds to her 100m Backstroke gold and 50m Freestyle silver with gold in the S8 400m Freestyle, demolishing the field to win in 4:58.80.

Hollis in for silver

Emma Hollis follows Frederiksen home in the S8 400m Freestyle, setting a personal best 5:24.48 for her second medal of the Championships so far.

Walk in the park for Matt

World champion Matt Walker defends his European S7 50m Freestyle title, holding off teammate Jonathan Fox to win in 29.21.

• Louise Watkin, Lauren Steadman, Susie Rodgers and Claire Cashmore combine to break the European record and retain the 34pt 4x100m Freestyle relay title in 4:27.53.
• Rodgers breaks her British record for the second time in one day, clocking 33.99 to collect S7 50m Freestyle silver.
• Anthony Stephens wins his second medal of the Championships, finishing in 42.75 to claim silver in the S5 50m Backstroke.
• 14-year old Hannah Russell wins her first international medal, breaking her British record from the heats to win S12 100m Butterfly bronze in 1:11.83
