The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Welcome to the landing page for grassroots disability swimming. If you are looking to get into the sport or are a club wanting guidance on including people with disabilities then read on.

If you are new to disability swimming start in our Go Swimming section for disability swimmingParalympian household names such as Ellie Simmonds and Sascha Kindred all started in grassroots sport. It is the foundation from which GB athletes grow.

In England grassroots sport is run by the ASA. Visit the Scottish and Welsh websites for more information on Scotland and Wales.

In this section you will find a range of information on how you can get involved in disability swimming in England. Who knows, you may be the next GB Paralympian.
