Welcome to the IPC Swimming European Championships 2011 subsection - your home for all the latest news and videos from the British Gas GBR Disability Swimming team in Berlin.

The IPC European Championships are the final major championships for Europe’s finest disability swimmers before next year’s London 2012 Paralympic Games.

While competition will be fierce (European swimmers accounted for 311 of the 542 medals awarded at last year’s World Championships), the British Gas GBR Disability Team head to Berlin with a strong hand.

BBC Coverage

British Swimming partners BBC will be covering the IPC Swimming European Championships with radio coverage on digital station BBC 5 Live Sports Extra at the following times:

  • Tuesday 5th July, 15:55 - 17:30
  • Thursday 7th July, 16:20 - 18:15
  • Friday 8th July, 16:35 - 18:40

Live Streaming Coverage

You can watch live streaming coverage of the IPC Swimming European Championships on YouTube.

The coverage will take place from 08:00 to 12:00 (morning sessions) and 15:00 to 19:30 (evening sessions) every day from 3-9 July.

    I am really happy to know about the result of IPC Swimming European Championships 2011. I think that there are many people who are waiting for the result of that event and it would be great to have some Hard candy sweets while waiting. I hope that the next IPC Swimming European Championships 2012 would also be a successful one.
