In the Pool
Greatest achievement to date: My 100m backstroke swim at the Paralympic trials where I made the time for Beijing, that was my proudest moment. It was a British record too so I was the fastest in Britain after that
Aspiration: To win Paralympic gold. To stand on top of the podium and be best in the World and to break the World record
Who has been greatest influence on you: Coaches and parents
Out of the Pool
Family members: My dad is a marathon runner and my sister is a top age group swimmer in Scotland
One thing you can’t live without: My trunks
Tip for the top: If you want to make it to the top you really have to work for it, when you go to a competition there’s no substitute for knowing you’ve worked hard and couldn’t have done any harder. Always than the people around you, your parents and coach because without them you wouldn’t get anywhere.
