World Class Programmes
The programmes are in place to fund and provide support to athletes that have the ultimate goal of reaching the Paralympic Podium.
There are 3 Programmes that make up the World Class Pathway:
- World Class Podium - this programme supports athletes with realistic medal winning capabilities at the next Paralympic Games.
- World Class Development - this programme supports athletes who's performances have suggested they have a realistic chance to qualify for 2012 but who are aiming for medal success in 2016 and beyond.
- World Class Talent - this programme supports the talent identification and confirmation of athletes who have the potential to progress through the World Class Pathway.
