European champions Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow were the stars of the opening day as they recorded their highest score together to defend their 10m Synchro title in their home pool.
Alicia Blagg and Oliver Dingley claimed the first individual honours of the competition with golds in the women's and men's 1m Springboard competitions respectively.
Blagg was lifting the title for the first time since she won it as a 13-year old in 2010 while Dingley retained his crown from 2011.

Jack Laugher dominated the men's 3m Springboard competition to claim his third consecutive title in emphatic style, finishing more than 60 points clear of the field.
Couch returned for her second gold of the meet, also impressing as she held off synchro partner Barrow to take victory on 365.20 and reclaim the title she last won in 2011.
Blagg also won a second gold, teaming up with Rebecca Gallantree as the City of Leeds pair claimed their third consecutive British title in the 3m Synchro.

Tom Daley made his only appearance of the Championships on the final day in Plymouth, comfortably defending his 10m Platform crown.
In the closest individual event of the weekend, Grace Reid held off Blagg by just 0.55 points to win her first national title in the 3m Springboard.
Finally, guest entries Yona-Knight Wisdom and Matthew Roberts took victory in the men's 3m Synchro to close the meet.
