Matty Lee showed his immense talent with some stand-out performances on the junior international stage in 2012.
Competing at his first European Junior Diving Championships, he landed 3m Springboard gold in the Group B age group then travelled to the World Junior Championships later in the season, securing a top result of seventh in the Group B Platform.
The following season, Lee won medals in all three Group B individual events at his second European Junior Championships, defending his 3m title and adding Platform silver and 1m Springboard bronze.
Lee secured his first senior individual domestic medals in 2014, winning 10m Platform bronze at both the season-opening National Cup and the British Gas Diving Championships in Sheffield.
He also won his first senior international medals in 2014, combining with Daniel Goodfellow for 10m Synchro bronze at the opening two legs of the FINA Diving World Series.
