After a couple of bronze medals in the Group C age group at the 2011 British Elite Junior Diving Championships, Shanice Lobb made her mark in the same event the following season in her first year as a Group B athlete, winning the individual clean sweep of 1m, 3m and Platform.
A call-up to her first junior international teams beckoned and she delivered with Group B Platform bronze at the European Junior Championships and an eighth place finish at the World Juniors later in the season.
Lobb made her first British senior individual final at the start of the 2013 season, finishing fifth in the 10m Platform at her home pool of Plymouth, then claimed her second European Junior Championships medal, winning bronze in the Group B 1m Springboard.
A fruitful spell in the middle of the 2014 season saw her claim Group A Platform gold at the British Elite Junior Championships then 10m Platform bronze at the British Gas Diving Championships in Sheffield - her first senior individual British medal.
Lobb closed her season with an eighth place in the Group A Platform event at the European Juniors and finished 10th in the same event at her second World Junior Championships in September.
