Sarah Barrow started her career under Andy Banks’ watch at Plymouth Diving Club, breaking into the junior GB set-up in 2003 then winning British Championship gold in 2005.
After a debut Commonwealth appearance in 2006, she won her first Grand Prix medal in 2008, combining with Monique Gladding for 10m Synchro silver in Madrid then finished fourth – also with Gladding - at the European Championships.
Barrow started a 10m Synchro partnership with Tonia Couch in 2010, enjoying immediate success as they took Grand Prix bronze in Fort Lauderdale then finished fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
After finishing fourth at the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai, Barrow and Couch broke through in 2012 with World Cup bronze at London Aquatics Centre then European gold in Eindhoven.
The 2013 season saw more success for Barrow as she won 10m Synchro silver at the European Championships and secured her best individual international results with fourth at both the Europeans and World Championships.
She won her first Commonwealth medal in 2014, teaming up with Couch again for 10m Synchro silver in Glasgow, before finishing off her season in fine style with 10m Platform gold at the European Championships in Berlin.
