Take on the T-30 Swimming Challenge
The 2013/2014 ASA T-30 Swimming Challenge is now closed. Read on to find out more about this popular event ready for when it returns late in 2014.
The T-30 Challenge is a simple event which you can complete in your local pool as a team or individual. It's all about how far you can swim in 30 minutes.
Whether you're trying to beat your own PB, be the best in your county or even the country, it's the perfect event for setting yourself a quick swim-challenge this winter.
You don't have to be a member of the ASA to enter. It's open to all adult swimmers living in Great Britain from 18-108 years.
Individuals can combine to form teams, but you can only represent one team in the competition. You also need to be registered as an individual before you can make a team entry.
There are men’s, women’s, and mixed (i.e. 2 women plus 2 men) teams. Swimmers can be in one single sex team and one mixed team, but can swim in different age groups in different events.
Where and when
You can swim in any pool that is 25 metres/yards or longer, and at any time from November to 31 January in any given year.
If you want to have a look what you're up against check out some of the previous year's results below. Good luck everyone, and swim fast.
