British elite set for Cyprus training camp
14th October 2011
Swimmers from the High Performance Centres in Manchester and Swansea have selected the Coral Beach Hotel and Resort in Paphos, Cyprus to hold their winter training camps in the lead up to 2012.
The country’s best disability swimmers, including double Paralympic Champion Eleanor Simmonds and double world record holder Jonathan Fox, will spend two weeks at the centre between 19 October and 2 November using their world class training facilities.
The camp is vital in helping the athletes get the foundations of training in place to prepare to tackle the feat of qualifying for the biggest competition of their lives at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
