Paralympic stars to take on international competition in Sheffield

Double Paralympic Champion Ellie Simmonds will compete at her first international competition of the new four-year Paralympic cycle at the British International Disability Swimming Championships which will take place in Spring 2013.
The British Swimming event (previously organised by Disability Sport England) is expected to attract 40 nations to Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield from the 25th - 28th of April where they will be battling for honours in the prestigious meet.
Simmonds will make her return to international competition for the first time since the Paralympics alongside other Paralympic champions including youngsters Josef Craig, Jessica-Jane Applegate and Ollie Hynd.
This is an opportunity to race against other nations from around the world ahead of the World Championships in the summer. Athletes will be aiming to impress with their times and set a marker for the rest of the world.
