Brits look for Trials boost in Montreal
3rd May 2012
A six-strong British Gas GBR Diving Team are preparing to compete in the second FINA Diving Grand Prix of the season in Montreal this weekend.
With the British Gas Diving Championships and nomination to TeamGB ever-closer, the Brits will be looking to make an impact in Canada.
Having finished ninth at the FINA World Cup at London Aquatics Centre earlier in the season, Rebecca Gallantree will compete in the 3m Springboard and team-up with regular partner Alicia Blagg in the 3m Synchro.
Blagg and Gallantree finished 11th at the World Cup but will want to re-capture the form which saw them take silver on the Grand Prix circuit in Fort Lauderdale last season.
Hannah Starling secured Great Britain's final quota place for London 2012 in the World Cup dive-off in February and will want to stake her claim for an Olympic spot with another good performance in Canada.
Finally, Stacie Powell and Monique Gladding will compete in the women's 10m Platform.
