Brits ready for final showdown in Mexico

With the final leg of the FINA/Midea Diving World Series on the horizon, the British Diving Team, powered by British Gas have been putting the final touches to their preparation in Mexico.

The eight-strong team will be competing on the two days of competition in Guanajuato, Mexico and will see gold medallists Peter Waterfield and Tom Daley back on the boards together in the 10m Synchro.

Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg, who secured fifth place in the 3m Synchro final in Sheffield, will be looking to finish the Series on a high with another consistent performance.

Ben Swain made his comeback from an injury that saw him miss the whole 2010 season at the Sheffield leg and will be on the boards with his Olympic partner Nick Robinson-Baker in 3m Synchro.

The finals sessions begin on Friday 22nd April at 9pm (GMT) and on Saturday 23rd April at 9pm (GMT).
