Brits target World Series medals in Moscow
12th April 2012
Tom Daley will go for a third consecutive World Series medal this weekend as the British Gas GBR Diving Team head to Moscow for the penultimate leg of the annual showpiece.
The Commonwealth champion won 10m Platform silver at the first two legs in Dubai and Beijing respectively but will be keen to upgrade to gold with World champion Qiu Bo absent from the line-up in Russia.
Having won 10m Synchro silver in Beijing, Daley and partner Peter Waterfield will combine again as they look to continue their good form while Chris Mears and Nick Robinson-Baker will compete in the men’s 3m Synchro.
Having won World Cup bronze earlier in the season, Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow will go for their first medal of this year’s World Series in the 10m Synchro.
Couch will also compete in the 10m Platform and Jack Laugher will take part in the 3m Springboard.
