Daley and Waterfield scoop World Series silver in Beijing

Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield put the disappointment of Dubai behind them to stand on the podium in the second leg of the FINA/Midea Diving World Series in Beijing.
At the end of the required rounds, the British pair lay in fifth place but executed a steady Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked to put them in contention of a medal.
The Brits finished in silver medal position with a final score of 437.40 to win their first Synchro medal of the 2012 season.
Tonia Couch missed the final of the women’s 10m Platform after finishing fourth in her semi final with a score of 313.90.
Jack Laugher finished fourth in his semi final with a score of 424.25. The 17-year old is gaining experience of the international circuit having made his senior debut last year.
