The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Daley just outside of medals in Dubai

Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley finished in fourth place in the men’s 10m Platform at the FINA/NVC Diving World Series in Dubai.

The British champion remained in medal contention until he dropped marks on his Front 4 ½ Somersaults tucked. But Daley recovered well with 97.20 points on his Back 3 ½ Somersaults piked.

He finished just outside of the medals with a total of 520.55.

In the women’s 10m Platform, Sarah Barrow opened with an Armstand Back Double Somersaults 1 ½ Twists in free position to score 72.00 points.

Barrow dropped marks on her third round dive (Front 3 ½ Somersaults piked) and finished sixth with a total score of 326.70.
