In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Divers to begin international season in Beijing and Dubai

The British Gas GBR Diving Team are ready to kick off their international season in style at the FINA/Midea Diving World Series in Beijing and Dubai.

The six-strong contingent have been working hard through the winter on their dives and are ready to take on the world’s best in Beijing from 15th – 17th March in the 2008 Olympic venue – the Water Cube.

Olympic 3m Individual finalist Chris Mears will compete in the 3m Springboard and the 3m Synchro and Hannah Starling will also double up in both Springboard events in her World Series debut.

After the Beijing leg the same athletes will travel to Dubai for the second leg of series which takes place from 21st -23rd March.

Tickets are still available for two days of the third leg of the FINA/Midea Diving World Series in Edinburgh from 19th - 21st April.
