1 Feb 2010

Britain’s top divers are finishing off their preparations for the British Gas National Cup 2010 where they will battle for national pride in Sheffield.

The competition, which runs from 5th – 7th February, will see World Champion Tom Daley unveil his new dive the Back 2 ½ Somersaults 2 ½ Twists in front of a packed crowd at Sheffield International Venues managed Ponds Forge.

Daley will be using a dive that is widely regarded as one of the hardest dives in the world and it is the same dive that won Matthew Mitcham his Olympic gold.

British Divers will be looking to put in strong performances because places on the FINA World Cup team will be at stake.
