Divers shine on final day of competition

The final two days of competition at the British Gas Junior Elite Diving Championships saw some excellent performances from the young divers competing at the John Charles Centre for Sport.

Ross Haslam, from City of Sheffield, secured his third medal of the Championships Group C Boys 3m after taking the 1m and Platform titles earlier in the week.

James Milton, also representing Sheffield, took his second gold in the Group A Boys 3m Final with a score of 468.70.

Josh Howd (City of Leeds) took the top spot in the Group B Boys 1m with a score of 379.45.

On the girls side Emily Alderman (Southampton) scored 324.10 to claim gold in the Group A Girls Platform.

Crystal Palace had two more athletes secure gold medals, with Amber Sheppard taking the title in the Group C Girls 1m with a score of 288.00 and Rosie Medlock winning the Group B Girls Platform.
