Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Gold for Lee in Poland

Matty Lee followed in the footsteps of his team mate Alicia Blagg by winning gold in the 3m Springboard at the European Junior Championships in Poland.

The 15-year dominated his prelim and repeated the feat in the final and he saved his best for his final dive. Lee scored 68.60 for his Back 2 ½ Somersaults tucked to take his victory.

The City of Leeds diver won with a total of 458.65 points.

Next in the pool was the girls’ 1m Springboard and Shanice Lobb made her way onto the podium to increase the British Gas GBR Diving Team’s medal tally.

Lobb (15) scored consistently in the final and won her bronze medal with a score of 318.10.

The next medal of the day came in the 3m Synchro as Francesca Del Celo and Grace Reid fought back to stand on the podium.

Del Celo and Reid scored highest in the penultimate round with their Reverse 2 ½ Somersaults tucked and finished with 262.56 points.
