Rosie Medlock seals third British medal in Belgrade

Just 24 hours after bronze medals for Jessica Williams and Sam Thornton in the Serbian capital, Southampton Diving Academy’s Medlock scored 301.15 to clinch bronze in the Platform final behind Germany’s Louisa Stawczynski (312.80) and Ukraine’s Ann Krasnoshlyk (304.85).

Cambridge Dive Team’s Lucy Cliff showed her potential in the same event, qualifying first from the preliminaries, but one missed dive saw her drop to sixth in the final with 287.00.

Other British divers in action in Serbia included Chloe Hurd (343.25) and Rhea Gayle (332.05) who finished ninth and tenth respectively in the 1m final.

Meanwhile, Josh Dowd (471.15) and Freddie Woodward (469.80) progressed to the 3m final in third and fourth respectively.
