Silver for 3m Synchro pair in Florida

Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg stormed to silver at the FINA Grand Prix in Fort Lauderdale with a strong performance in the 3m Synchro.

The Brits put themselves in a good position on 95.40 after two good required dives and they then scored 68.40 on their opening optional dive - the Back 2 ½ Somersaults piked.

Another good dive in the fourth round saw the Brits score 64.80 for their Reverse 2 ½ Somersaults piked before they sealed their podium finish with 57.60 for their Forward 2 ½ Somersaults, 1 Twist piked.

Gallantree and Blagg ultimately scored 286.20 to collect silver behind USA's Christina Loukas and Abby Johnston (293.40) with another American pairing, Cassidy Krug and Cassidy Cook, just behind on 285.30.
