The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Synchro pair take sixth place

Peter Waterfield and Max Brick finished in sixth place in the men’s 10m Synchro on the penultimate day of competition at the FINA World Cup.

The prelim saw the pair score a total of 412.89 to go into the final ranked in sixth place. They took to the boards and performed well through the rounds.

Waterfield and Brick finished the final in sixth place with a total score of 427.38.

Rebecca Gallantree, who is competing in three events, finished in 13th place in the women’s 3m Springboard semi-final to miss the final by just one position. She scored a total of 287.25.

In the prelim, Gallantree finished in ninth place after scoring 301.30 and Hannah Starling finished in 19th place with a score of 242.
