In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Two medals for divers in Dresden International Youth Meet

Freddie Woodward and Bethany Watts secured silver and bronze respectively on the opening day of competition at the Dresden International Youth Meet.

Woodward, who was competing in the 16-18 years 3m Springboard, kept the pressure on the leader throughout and after putting in a consistent performance finished with the silver medal and a score of 576 points.

Watts was in the 16-18 years 10m Platform and took on some of the world’s best young divers.

The Southampton diver secured her highest scores came in the front 3 ½ Somersaults piked and finished with a total of 396 points.

Competition continues through the weekend.
