The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

British Swimming celebrates LEN European Aquatics Day

The European federation for aquatics, LEN, is a celebrating its five disciplines, Swimming, Open Water, Water Polo, Synchronised Swimming and Diving today at the LEN Aquatics Day.

Throughout June, 51 European countries will be hosting their own special event and on the final day of the British Gas Swimming Championships in Sheffield, four Olympians will be hosting a masterclass session for members of the public to learn more about their sports.

Olympic bronze medallist Joanne Jackson will be running a masterclass alongside Alex Parsonage (Water Polo), Katie Dawkins (Synchronised Swimming) and diver Monique Gladding.

The families who have been invited to take part have also received tickets to watch the heats and finals session of the British Gas Swimming Championships, an aquatics master class as well as an opportunity to grill the Olympians on what it takes to be an Olympic athlete.
